Barrington, Ill. Resident Robert Stadler Promoted to Vice President in Chicago Office of Thornton Tomasetti
Robert M. Stadler, P.E., S.E., a resident of Barrington, Ill., has been promoted to vice president in the Chicago office of Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering firm.
Mr. Stadler joined Thornton Tomasetti in 1998 and has broad exposure to projects of all sizes, from tenant build-outs to high-rise buildings and long-span structures. His work spans several market sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, aviation, cultural, educational and sports facilities. He specializes in economical structural solutions using all types of building materials and has experience in building design in high seismic regions.
Mr. Stadler is a licensed Professional Engineer and a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Mr. Stadler is a member of the Structural Engineering Association of Illinois (SEAOI) and the American Institute of Steel Construction. He has been a guest lecturer at SEAOI’s Student Chapter at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has been a panelist and author on topics including seismic design and stadium renovations.
