Catlow Fundraiser at Transformotion Sunday
The exercise studio is donating all proceeds from Sunday's classes to The Catlow theater.
The Catlow theater needs to raise $100,000 in order to keep its doors open, and a local exercise studio wants to help.
In a recent letter published on Kickstarter.com, the Catlow's owner, Tim O'Connor, wrote that the Hollywood movie industry will soon require all theaters to convert to a digital format. The cost to convert from film to digital at The Catlow would be around $100,000 and O'Connor is asking for donations to make that happen.
Transformotion owner Jennifer Anzelmo wants to do her part to help the theater, and will be donating all proceeds from her classes held this Sunday, Aug. 5, to the cause.
Classes to choose from include:
Zumba: $17, 9-10 a.m.
Vinyasa Yoga: $20, 10:15-11:30 a.m.
Energy Barre: $26, 12-12:50 p.m.
Transformotion is located at 410 E. Main Street, Barrington. For more information, call 847-277-9740.
