My heart is fearful! Vance is one of the nicest persons I've met! The picture in the red shirt - I took that! Every year he comes to the Grove Carnival and comes to the face painting booth where he and I "Plan" his design to outdo the one we did the year before! Always happy - always smiling - always positive! My thoughts and prayers are with his family...

As All has said Vance Was a Fun Loving Dude-Who Put a Smile on All of our Faces(whether we were good, bad, happy or sad) He Blessed so Many People with his Great Attitude on Life! He was a Gentle Bear who touched soooo Many in this Town-Ashame that the Good Man up Above took such a great Man with a tremendous Memory and Heart!! Everytime I would See him he would ask about Everyone in my Family(we r frequent shoppers of Jewel and Mobil) He Loved My Car for some odd reason I drive a Black Cavalier and always asked me to sell it to him!!'ll Never Forget too that he wanted a Black Car-B/C at night no one could see Him.(I laughed so hard! and he wld walk me to my car and shut the door like a gentleman) I am going to miss his FB posts of his Face painting and Him talking about worinking the 3rd shift but he was making money!! This town will never be the same without Vance!! He touched sooo Many!! RIP MY Friend-You Will Be Missed, But Never Forgotten!!

I wish that this never happened to this gentleman at all, but worse that this occurred under the Schaumburg jurisdiction. The Schaumburg police is incredibly corrupt and is just a forsaken department. This is not the first time that this has happened to an individual who is out alone in that area or within 15 miles from this area. A body was found at an apartment complex in Schaumburg. This man was found in a VERY similar position in their pond. The SPD department was very quick to call this a "suicide" or an "accident". The Schaumburg Police Department is extremely bias and much more ( I am being select in my wording as I write this) when it comes to any actual investigation of any one who has ben assaulted, robbed, or killed. SPD deliberately misplaces reports critical for any court case. The rewrite reports and they ignore witness statements. The only time they may investigate is if the victim were Natalee Holloway. Additionally, the victim had better not be receiving any help from the state or be "different" the SPD or its community . Entire community HATES the disabled. True!

You can bet that this is foul play. There is no reason that this should have happened to this young man. I do not know this man, however, we have shopped in the very place where he worked. If any of you are his friends, please support his family to receive a thorough investigation for their son. Too many disabled individuals are being mistreated , particularly, in the community of Schaumburg.

Demand that there be a well rounded investigation. This man's life was taken for no reason , except, for his condition and for the obvious reasons. This comment is not to generate a disagreement, this statement is to generate actual care for this individual. The readership or audience needs to pay close attention to these cases which are spread apart, This is NOT an "accident". Anything in Schaumburg should ALWAYS be questioned without a doubt. This can happen to any one who is different and race is not the complete issue, but the fact of his vulnerability IS an issue. This is not a coincidence that this happened where it happened. Whoever has true courage enough to follow up with this case will unravel a set of buried issues which may lead to a suspect or a full conviction. And if any of you are even sharper, you too will see the connection in this case. Look at the dates and read the Daily Herald regarding the story of the man who was also found in the pond of HIS home (the article is partial to the Schaumburg area) as well under the very same circumstances. Think about WHO may have murdered this man and who is typically out at that time of night. Think that it is more than one person and that the persons of interest has understanding of forensics. You can count on there being a a witness at that. Look at the address and at the points between the two cases. Next, research th history of this area. Travel in pairs& make sure that someone knows where you are to call home.
