Station Middle School Student Wins Lake County Spelling Bee
Eighth grader Pranav Sivakumar will head to Washington, D.C. to compete in the national competition this summer.
Barrington Middle School-Station Campus student Pranav Sivakumar has done it again!
The 8th grader won the the Lake County Final Spelling Bee Competition that was held at the College of Lake County on March 20. Pranav also won the Lake County Final Spelling Bee in 2011 and 2012. Pranav will travel to Washington D.C. to compete in the Annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. The competition will be held May 26th through June 1st. All expenses for the 7-day trip will be paid cooperatively by the Lake County Regional Office of Education and the Jelly Belly Candy Company.
