Teens showed up hours before the doors opened at Barrington High School for today's visit by Rihanna.
Station Middle School seventh-grader Maria Saucedo said she was especially exicted because at one point, it was thought there would only be enough tickets for high school students.
"I was screaming when we were told we could get in," Maria said. She and some friends waited outside for hours before the doors opened at noon.
"I've loved her forever, since I was 6 years old," said seventh-grader Alicia Osman.
"It will be nice to see the person behind the pop star," said BHS junior Caroline Zagraniczny.
"It's not everyday a celebrity comes to your high school," said BHS junior Alexa Toohill.
"It's a once in a life-time opportunity," said junior Tess Clampitt.

Rihanna, that is a lame excuse. I drove from Lexington Ky to Chicago, and through this afternoons traffic with out an issue.
She doesn't need to near students. Bad influence.
