The number one question I am asked this time of year (and no, it's not what do I want for Christmas!) is "Should we keep our home "listed" during the holidays?" And my answer is always the same resounding YES!
Here are my top 5 reason's:
- Serious buyers
- Less Competition
- Buyers need to relocate by the end of the year
- Motivated Sellers
- Your home looks festive
Serious buyers are out looking. If they weren't serious they would be at the mall finishing their shopping!
Believe it or not.. some people go ahead and take their homes off the market, so now your home can get more attention!
Companies still transfer their employee's during the holiday's. And yes, they could be considered a bit like Grinch, but at least they still have a job!
This should be you, a motivated seller because you just don't want your home listed you want it sold!
And last, but not least, everyone loves a party! When your home is full of glistening shiney things, buyers will much more likely to want to live there.
So, with just 10 days until Christmas, you might be just like me, and just getting your tree up and decorating your home!
Whether you are selling your home or not, Remember to take time to enjoy this special season!
Cheers!
