Barrington United Methodist Church
presents Duo Alegre in a Flute and
Guitar Concert performed by Belinda C. King and Steve Vazquez on Saturday,
September 8 at 5:00 p.m. Duo Allegre
will be joined by the Barrington United Methodist Church Flute Choir, an
ensemble which contains the complete flute family: piccolo down to bass flute. The
concert will be performed at Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin
Road in Barrington, corner of Route 59 and Algonquin Road. A fellowship dinner
will follow the concert and a free-will offering will be accepted to benefit

More About Barrington United Methodist Church
One of the oldest congregations in Barrington, United Methodist Church was formed in 1840. The original church had only eight members, but over the years grew to the 1,000-member congregation it is today. The strength of the church was shown in 1998, when its Hough Street location was destroyed by fire. The Algonquin Road church was built after the devastating fire and is now home to United Methodist Church and Noah's Ark pre-school.
