Heifer Project: Feeding 5000

Ages 3 through Grade 6. Join us as we explore ways we can help the hungry and less fortunate in the
world. Each day we will focus on a different animal that is part of the Gardener’s
Gift Basket that we hope to donate by the end of the week. This basket represents
everything a family will need to start a sustainable farm – tree seedlings, rabbits
to generate organic manure, chickens to eat pests and a hive of bees to pollinate
crops and increase yields. We will raise funds by auctioning off paper mache
honey bees made and decorated by the children during the week. Other types of
fun await VBS attendees from a rousing Chicken Dance experience to the making
of prayer medallions for themselves and family members. Register on-line at
