 eastern Illinois (HPNI) in celebrating 19 years of duck to duck competit
 ion in the annual Barrington Duck Race and Pool Parties this summer. Ado
 pt one duck (or a whole family!)\, watch them race down the slides and m
 ay the best duck win!\nSwimming\, food and games will also be available 
 for everyone.The event benefits HPNI&rsquo\;s Care for Children Fund\, w
 hich supports the pediatric hospice and palliative care programs.&nbsp\;
 Many families of HPNI&rsquo\;s youngest patients have eitherexhausted th
 eir medical insurance or have no medical coverage at all\, which is why 
 your support is so critical. Last year\, HPNI was able to provide almost
  $960\,000 for care to children and families with no resources because o
 f the community&rsquo\;s generosity.&nbsp\;At the Duck Races and Pool Pa
 rties\, hundreds of colorful plastic ducks are launched off a water slid
 e and &ldquo\;race&rdquo\; to the finish. Participants have a chance to 
 win prizes by &ldquo\;adopting&rdquo\; (purchasing) ducks. Each duck is 
 numbered and the winning numbers will be announced after each race.&nbsp
