The DASH to Cure Diabetes was created to produce premier events to raise money to help care for and cure diabetes.  Our SECOND CITY comedy event, on Friday, Jan 25, 8pm at Barrington H.S., helps provide funding for children with diabetes from low-income families to attend The American Diabetes Association Triangle D Summer Camp in Volo, IL. The camp, supported full-time by area endocrinologists and dieticians, teaches children to manage their blood sugar more efficiently and more independently, while they enjoy a traditional camp environment.  It’s an amazing place for the kids, and an invaluable release for parents, who have been used to checking in with their kids every two hours since they were diagnosed.

Your attendance at our SECOND CITY event will help us ensure that no child petitioning for financial aid will be turned away.
