Get ready to shop till you drop at Barrington Sidewalk Days starting today, Thursday, July 25.
The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and its members are hosting Sidewalk Days. Participating shops are located on Main Street, Cook Street, Station Street and along Route 14. Jewel-Osco, the Ice House Mall, The Foundry and the shops on Lageschulte will also participate. Sidewalk Days continues through Sunday, July 28.

Stillman Nature Center, 33 West Penny Road, Barrington, will provide photographers a close-up of great horned, barred, barn and screech owls. The cost is $20 per person.
Magician Sean Masterson's Theatrical Show

The Barrington Area Library sponsors this morning of family-friendly magic with magician Sean Masterson's theatrical show at The Garlands of Barrington Center for the Performing Arts, 1000 Garlands Lane, Barrington. Masterson combines sleight-of-hand, mind-blowing illusions and audience participation. Registration is not necessary, but seating is first come, first served.
