Give your garage a Spring cleaning and bring your outgrown or broken bike to Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist, 1025 N. Smith Street, Palatine, on Sunday, April 27 from 9AM-noon. The church's Faith in Action team will take the cycle donations (as well as bike parts, crutches, sewing machines and wheelchairs too) to Working Bikes, a non-profit that rescues and refurbishes discarded bicycles and gives them to people (locally and globally) who need reliable transit to jobs, education, medical attention and other resources.
