A New Summer Look

Ways to tweek your hair in the summer months.

This has been a dull dark winter, and with the sun making more of an appearance, how about we brighten up your hair and your look for the summer.  It is so common to want to change your appearance  and spring into the warm weather.

When you check out  the latest trends in the magazines, you see lots of short looks.  If you are willing to take on  a strong new look, indulge in texture and product.  Consider a choppy cut, or even consider taking your locks to a bouncy bob. You can shatter the look of a plain bob with some  layers and front highlights.  All simple touches and yet can really brighten up your whole look.

Do you have natural curls and are fighting them constantly in the summer and humidity?  For a new appearance and less frustration, EMBRACE the natural.  You would be surprised how allowing your curls to be relaxed and soft can change your look.  If this is difficult to let loose, remember, just do it for the summer.  Use a texturzing crème or gel to hold those curls in to place.

No natural curls, but want the look, try a perm? YES, a perm!  Perms seemed to have taken a bad wrap over the years, but perm techniques have changed.  Ask your stylist for a large roller rod , complete the look with a diffuser and a paste or crème.  There are plenty of products that can help you get a beach look.  Trying something new and only for a season can only be fun.
