Barrington Donation Drive for Hurricane Sandy Victims

The Main Event, Ltd. and Barrington Print & Copy are collaborating to coordinate this donation drive.

With another Nor’ Easter brewing, those impacted by Hurricane Sandy need help more than ever.

Two Barrington organizations are teaming up to help those affected by the recent storm.

From now until Nov. 21, The Main Event of Barrington, Ltd. and Barrington Print & Copy are collecting donations from the Barrington community to ship to the New York and New Jersey areas most in need.

The vacant Windfall Enterprises Warehouse located at 202 James Street in Barrington (next to Barrington Print & Copy) has been donated for use as a collection site. Trucking to the east coast has been donated by Coyote Logistics of Highland Park.

Community members are asked to bring donations to the drop off site from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 21.

If collections need to be dropped off after hours, call 847-921-3866 for accommodations.
