Easter Festivities Slated Around Town

Numerous activities scheduled to celebrate the Easter holiday.

There is a lot to do around town this week with your family to get ready for Easter.  Here are some highlights:

Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny at 111 Grille in the Ice House Mall. The bunny will be visiting Thursday to Saturday this week from noon until 3 p.m.  The Ice House Mall is also hosting a “Night at the Mall Egg Hunt” on April 21 at 6 p.m.   To register call (847) 277-7800.

The businesses at the Foundry of Barrington on Northwest Highway are holding their 17th Annual Family Easter Event on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Enjoy free photos with the Easter Bunny. Visit the free petting zoo featuring baby ducks, chicks, rabbits, goats and over 35 animals. Explore Barrington fire trucks and police vehicles, too. Have your face painted with whiskers, then visit over 15 participating retailers for special treats and surprises. Bring an Easter basket to fill with goodies. For further information, call G. Enjoy Easter brunch at Makray Memorial Golf Club.  The brunch will feature a large buffet with an extensive array of food selections.  The cost is $29.95 for adults and children 11 and up and $13.95 for children ages 4 to 10.  Kids 3 and under are free.  For reservations, call (847) 381-6501.

The South Barrington Park District is holding a flashlight Easter egg hunt on Thursday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the community center.
