Barrington Art Festival: The "Season Opener"

Art festival season kicks off with the Barrington Art Festival over Memorial Day weekend.  FREE and open to the public, the Barrington Art Festival offers the work of 140 juried artists from around the world in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, photography, watercolors, wood and more.   Young artists shine in the Youth Art Division which showcases the work of artists ages 6 to 18. 

Amdur Productions’ “season opener” offers all the festival favorites art enthusiasts have been waiting for all year long! Guests of the festival will have the opportunity to enjoy and purchase exceptional artwork from renowned artists while enjoying live music and great food.  Young festival goers can help paint an art wall in the Kid’s Art Tent and play an art scavenger hunt while exploring the festival with their families.  Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to see the masters at work with interactive art demos and booth chats taking place all weekend long!

And there's more!  Daily drawings will take place and several lucky festival-goers will receive Art Buck$, courtesy of Amdur Productions, to spend on a piece of art at any of Amdur Productions’ 2011 festivals!
