Jr. Women's Club Hosting Fashion Show Fundraiser

The Barrington Junior Women's Club will be catwalking for a cause at its annual fall charity fashion show Saturday.

From the streets of Paris to Barrington comes the Barrington Junior Women's Club's premiere charity fundraiser, "la Parisienne Fashion Show and French Market."

Enjoy a chic afternoon of shopping and fashion for a great cause at The Stonegate Conference and Banquet Centre in Hoffman Estates Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"The Fall Fashion Show is BJWC’s signature event that annually funds local grants and charities. We look forward to a fun afternoon of fabulous fashion and philanthropy," said Suzy Mogler, BJWC president.  

The event will feature a French Market where guests can browse the local boutiques. A French-inspired luncheon will be also served.

The fashion show, produced by Zzazz Productions and emceed by celebrity chef, Jaime Laurita, will showcase clothing from Barrington-area boutiques and designers throughout Chicagoland.

Live and silent auctions

This fabulous day will also include silent and live auctions, including luxury fur items from York Furrier and an impact raffle sponsored by Long & Co. Jewelers. Other sponsors of the event include K&M Printing, BMO Harris Bank, J.P. Morgan, Robert and Nina Stephenson, Sue Rogers, Doncaster Clothing and media partner, Living 60010.

The live and silent auctions will raise funds for scholarships for Barrington High School seniors, meals for the needy, support for Giving Day and more, said BJWC event spokeswoman Rachel Kuna.

"We raised over $50,000 last year and hope to meet and/or exceed these numbers this year," she said.
