Dip ‘n Drip
We’ll walk out to a wetland and take samples with dip nets to see what kinds of small critters are living in the water. Water, hat and sunscreen and insect repellent recommended. Please wear clothing that can get wet and muddy. | Sunday, July 7, 1 pm
School of Ants
Take part in the School of Ants project. It is a citizen-scientist driven study of ants. We'll show you how the study is done, capture some ants and see the data online. You can then do this project on your own at home! |Sunday, July 14, 1 p.m.

Old Stover Trailhead Bike Ride
Cook County's many miles of trails make it an ideal place for bicycling. Appropriate for all ability levels and bikes, this bike loop links the Nature Center to the Paul Douglas Paved Trail. This trail allows for a full experience and appreciation of the forest preserve. Bring your bikes and helmets. Registration required |Sunday, July 21, 1 p.m.
