Online Shopping Provides Convenience for Busy Parents

It's holiday time for those of us who celebrate Easter, which means in my house, I am in panic shopping mode to get new shoes, socks, shirts, sweaters and dresses that actually fit for my children's Easter attire.  

I don't know what it is about Spring, but it seems my children have a growth spurt before this time every year, because the dress outfits they wore at Christmas seemed to fit just fine then, but all of a sudden, they do not fit at Easter.  

Instead of dragging all my kids to the mall to buy the outfits and shoes - which I avoid like the plague - I turned to online retailers. In a few clicks, I can have a child entirely outfitted, sparing me the four hours it usually takes me to have the kids try on one pair of pants each. I turn to the same retailers usually each time because I know what size to order.  

One of the best things I have discovered in my online shopping world are Web sites that offer promo codes for all major online retailers that allow me to get free shipping or save a substantial percentage off my sale. I rarely, if ever, pay for shipping anymore. It actually pains me to waste that money! The two sites I use the most are www.retailmenot.com and couponcabin.com. It is amazing how much money these promo codes save you that I would not normally have saved, had I not checked for them. If you get regular emails from your favorite online retailers, you probably receive several of the promo codes, but additional ones seemed to always be listed as well.

There is definitely something fun about shopping in brick and mortar stores, but when in a rush, online shopping is a convenient way to go for busy parents!
