It's going to be a frigidly cold week for the Chicago suburbs.
A high of only -11 degrees is expected Monday in Barrington with wind chill values as low as -45 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Wind gusts around 20 mph are in the forecast with gusts as high as 35 mph possible.
Areas of blowing snow are expected Monday night before 7 p.m. with a low of -15 degrees in the forecast. The wind chill values could reach -39 degrees.
On Tuesday, a high of 2 degrees is expected. Wind chill values could reach -39. Wind gusts of 15 mph are in the forecast with gusts up to 20 mph possible.
On Wednesday, the temps will reach a high of 14 and there is a possibility of snow, according to the NWS.
