GYPSY NIGHTS: Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble Gala

Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble (BYDE) invites the community to Gypsy Nights  its 2011 Gala Fundraiser to be held Saturday, October 15 at 5:30 pm  at the estate of Jasper and Marian Sanfilippo, "Place de la Musique".  The evening will feature performances by the Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater, of Chicago, and the Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble.  Proceeds from this Flamenco themed event will benefit BYDE’s 2011 production of The Nutcracker.  The evening will also include tours of the estate, and live and silent auctions.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Cerqua Rivera Dance Theater,” stated Mary Brennan, artistic director of BYDE. “We hope this will be the beginning of an ongoing artistic partnership between them and our dance students.”

 Tickets for the gala are $150.00 per attendee. Reservations are limited and responses are required on or before Monday, October 4, 2010.  Please call BYDE at 847-382-6333 to request an invitation or to make reservations.

BYDE’s fall gala will provide funding for the 2011 BYDE production of The Nutcracker which will be presented at Barrington High School on December 2, 3 & 4, 2011. Tickets to The Nutcracker will be available beginning October 1, 2010 online at www.BYDE.org or by visiting the BYDE box office at Barrington Dance Academy, in the Foundry of Barrington.
