Music On The Hill Presents Faure Requiem

Music on the Hill celebrates its final concert of the year with a performance of the Faure Requiem. This inspiring choral masterpiece will be presented by the choirs of the Presbyterian Church of Barrington, accompanied by a professional orchestra and featuring Chicago soloists Soprano, Amy Conn and Bass, Ben LeClair.

The concert will be performed at 7:00 PM on Saturday March 17. and will be under the direction of the church’s Music Director, Kirsten Hedegaard.

Faure, himself, said of this music “It expresses a very human feeling of faith in eternal rest and, therefore, I see death as a happy deliverance, an aspiration toward happiness above, rather than as a painful experience”.

The church is located at 6 Brinker Road in Barrington.
