Barrington High School prepares for 2013 "IT" campaign

Barrington High School will host the fourth-annual school-wide "IT" Campaign in March 2013. Area non-profit organizations may be considered to become the recipient of the 2013 "IT" Campaign proceeds.

Students at Barrington High School will host the fourth-annual school-wide "IT" Campaign in March 2013. Based on the premise of paying a good deed forward, the "IT" Campaign is a fun yearly effort involving 3,000 students and staff, who raise money for an area non-profit organization that serves local youth and families, while also uniting Barrington High School and the local community.

Since 2009, the “IT” Campaign has donated nearly $40,000 to Barrington Youth and Family Services, Walk On Farm and Barrington Giving Day. Some of the "IT" Campaign student activities include a dodge ball competition, school dance, foosball tournament, diving contest, faculty silent auction, and various food sales featuring local vendors.

If an area organization is interested in becoming the 2013 "IT" Campaign proceeds recipient, please contact Paul Gillette (pgillette@barrington220.org) or Susan Teegarden (steegarden@barrington220.org) by Oct. 31.
