Enormous Nature Mural to be Dedicated at Early Learning Center

Barrington 220’s youngest learners now have a 35-foot long nature mural to greet them as they enter school each day, thanks to the hard work by local painter Susan Hanson.

Hanson’s one-of-a-kind painting depicts the school’s natural surroundings of trees, flowers and other foliage as they progress through all four seasons. It will be officially dedicated to the school on Friday, Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m.  The Early Learning Center is located at 40 E. Dundee Road in Barrington.

The project was made possible by the Early Learning Center’s PTO, Barrington 220 Educational Foundation, Citizens for Conservation and individual donors.
