Dive Team Called to Barrington Water Rescue

UPDATE 3:45 p.m.: A recovery operation is underway in Lake Barrington for a man and his dog this afternoon, Barrington Life newspaper reports. 

The newspaper reports that the man was seen in the Flint Creek around 11:30 a.m. with his head above water. The creek was searched all the way to the Fox River, and now the operation has been shifted from rescue to recovery.

Dive teams have been called to Kelsey Road and Old Barrington Road for a water rescue, the Current Incident Notification Services reports. 

A second alarm has been pulled for the incident. Swift water techs and divers have all been called to the scene. Authorities are now calling for additional boats to assist in the rescue. Barrington Patch will update this article as information becomes available.
