AT&T Looking to Build Cellular Phone Tower at Norge Ski Jump
AT&T is looking to build an approximately $1 million cellular phone tower next to Norge Ski Jump in Fox River Grove.
AT&T is looking to build a 140-foot cell phone tower next to the Norge Ski Jump in Fox River Grove, the Northwest Herald is reporting. A proposed lightning rod for the top of the tower would bring its total height to 147 feet.
AT&T is seeking a special use permit from the Fox River Grove Village Board to erect the approximately $1 million tower. The board is scheduled to vote on the request Feb. 6, the Northwest Herald story states. Currently, there are other cellular phone antennas on the ski jump, but the proposed tower would be built next to the jump.
