Ciao Baby Tavern to Open on Cook Street
Popular Barrington restaurant to open tavern to serve as place for patrons to wait to be seated.
Open less than two years, Barrington Italian restaurant Ciao Baby has become so popular that it needs a place for patrons to enjoy a drink while waiting to be seated.
Ciao Baby will open a tavern across the street at 102 N. Cook St., which will serve primarily as a waiting place for restaurant customers. The Barrington village board approved a license for the business last month.
The tavern will be called the Tip Top Tap and is expected to open in late May, according to the Daily Herald.
