Home of the Sparrow's 25th Anniversary Gala

Mark your calendars to join us on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 to celebrate our 25th Anniversary.  The event will be held at the magnificent Sanfilippo Estate “Place de la Musique” in Barrington Hills. The “Place de la Musique” is known worldwide for its magnificent collections of beautifully restored antique music machines, phonographs, arcade and gambling machines, chandeliers, lamps, art glass, the World’s largest restored theater pipe organ and the most spectacular European salon carousel in existence. The collections extend beyond these exquisite pieces and are displayed in breathtaking settings. The mansion expands 44,000 square feet with a separate carousel pavilion. The evening will begin with self-guided estate tours at 5pm, followed by an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and dinner in the Carousel Room.  There will also be a short presentation, as well as raffles and silent auctions. Tickets are $150 per person, or $1,350 for a table of ten. Attire is semi-formal, black tie optional.

Your attendance at the 25th Anniversary Gala will help Home of the Sparrow continue to provide transitional housing and supportive services for homeless women and children in Northern Illinois.  The women who come to us are often broken in spirit and the children are frightened and confused.  Each year, through our shelters and apartment programs, we serve an average of 100 residents; more than 65% of whom are children.  Our mission is to provide Hope, Opportunity and Support that empowers women and children, as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Please plan to join us for this truly memorable evening.

Please call 815-271-5444 for more information about sponsorship and volunteering opportunities, or to make reservations. Information can also be found at our website: www.hosparrow.org.
