Fundraising event for Friends of the Forest Preserves

 

Join Friends of the Forest Preserves for a nighttime fall festival with fun for all ages.  A wonderful event to be held at the Spring Creek Forest Preserve, on Bateman Rd just 1/8 mile north of the intersection of Bateman and Rt. 62 (Algonquin Rd), in Barrington Hills on Saturday September 29th from 5-10 pm.  Guests will enjoy cookout dinner from 5-8pm, beer and wine, a HUGE bonfire, narrated horse drawn wagon rides, native wildlife, stargazing, an amazing raffle with over 25 items, flashlight tours for kids, live music and dancing. Tickets are $45 with advance purchase by September 21st  ($60 at the door), $25 for ages 13-20 and $5 for children under 12.  For a detailed map and to purchase event and raffle tickets online visit www.fotfp.org or call (312) 356-9990.  All tickets will be held at the gate.  Ignite the Night will take place rain or shine!  Come out and support Friends of the Forest Preserves mission to preserve, protect and restore the forest preserves of Cook County for the benefit of people and nature. 

 

Generous supporters of this event include Barrington Countryside Park District, Riding Club of Barrington Hills and Forest Preserve District of Cook County.  All proceeds will be used to support Friends of the Forest Preserves conservation work.
