This week we asked Lake Zurich and Barrington Patch readers to suggest where to get the best fish fry for our weekly Chowdown Showdown poll.
Although Makray Golf Club in Barrington and Fritzl's in Lake Zurich have many admirers, the long-established Village Tavern in Long Grove won the favor of voters with the most votes by far.
