Support Local Businesses at Community Expo

This isn’t your average business expo. On Saturday, March 10, 38 of Barrington’s best businesses will be on hand to promote their brand. There will also be plenty of activities and raffle prizes to keep the entire family entertained.

“We’re bringing something back that we haven’t had for a few years here,” Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce President Janet Meyer said. “We really want to drive it to be one resource in Barrington for you to come and meet personally an array of businesses from all specialties.”

In addition to learning about what local businesses have to offer, there will be kids activities and even a chance to win a $500 shopping spree at one of 22 locations in town.

There will also be a variety of free health screenings to take advantage of. ChiroOne Wellness Center will offer free health and posture screenings, St. Alexius Medical Center will be providing free blood pressure screenings, and New Beginnings Chriopractic and Wellness Center will have a free myovision screen, which is a muscle scan.

“I believe it’s a great connection opportunity to come,” Meyer said. “If anything, come for the free screenings and to get your name in the fish bowl for $500.”

The Barrington Community Expo will be held Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Langendorf Center at the Barrington Park District. Parking and admission are free to the public.
