Barrington Celtic Fest

When: Friday, March 16 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday, March 17 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Where:

Why: Come out and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Barrington community at McGonigal’s second Celtic Fest. The event was extremely popular last year, drawing 3,000 people to Park Avenue to enjoy Irish beer, food and music. It’s expected to be even larger this year. e.

The Barrington Antique and Garden Show and Sale

When: March 15-17 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Barrington Ice House Mall

Warterfowl Welcome at Crabtree Nature Center

When: Sunday, March 18 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where:

Why: Enjoy the warm March weather by spending it outdoors with your family. The free Waterfowl Welcome workshop will teach nature lovers about the birds as they return to Illinois for the season.

Antiques, Garden & More

When: March 16 & 17 11 a.m. to  4 p.m.

Where:

Why: Bring your antiques, garden items and other items you would like to sell  to Norton’s U.S.A. by 10:30 a.m. and set them under the tent. Label each item with your name and price and Norton’s will sell them for you with no commission charged! You are also welcome to buy at the event.
