Design & Execution Firm Boosts Leadership Team, GFX Names New President

GFX International, a leader in design and execution for retail, has appointed Timothy Nisbet as President. As only the second President in GFX’s long history, Nisbet will be responsible for leadership of the company’s Client Service, Operations, Business Development and Information Technology teams.

In explaining the business rationale behind his latest appointment, GFX Founder and CEO Chuck Huttinger said “My goal is to create a sustainable and successful future for GFX. Tim Nisbet brings a global perspective to GFX, breathing more innovation and inspiration into every department in the organization.” A founding member of EPAC Technologies, Mr. Nisbet was responsible for global sales and client consultation for process improvement surrounding print supply chain management. The Barrington, Illinois resident and University of Iowa graduate is an esteemed veteran in the graphic production industry. “I’m honored to take this leadership position and I’m ready,” Nisbet declares. “When I look at the industry and I look at the capabilities and passion that GFX has, there is no doubt the next few years will be fun.” Continuing, he says, “We have an exceptional client-care model, the most sophisticated proprietary software solution on the market today and tactical-design talent to boot. All the building blocks for a successful future are here.”

An international player in the retail image market, GFX has been delivering in-store campaign, décor and “heightened experience” solutions to brands and retailers abroad and domestically for over two decades. While Huttinger plans to maintain an active role in GFX’s strategic planning and major client initiatives, he isn’t shy about voicing a strong vote of confidence in Nisbet’s ability to envisage and lead. “Tim’s leadership, along with his ability to incorporate process automation, will be instrumental to the future of GFX,” Huttinger says.
