Barrington, IL, September 24, 2013 –– The Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble (BYDE) is delighted to announce full casting for one of Barrington’s most popular holiday shows of all time, The Nutcracker. Presenting its 19th season, The Nutcracker will run from December 6-8, 2013 at Barrington High School, 616 West Main Street in Barrington, Illinois. Guest artists from National and Chicago regional dance companies, including The River North Dance Chicago and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, perform lead soloist roles and are joined by more than 75 student dancers from Barrington and the Northwest Chicago suburbs.

The CastStephanie Eggers of Kildeer and Caleigh Meehan of Fox River Grove will share the role of Clara, The Nutcracker’s heroine. Additional student performers include Lindsey George of Cary, as the Dew Drop Fairy and Mackenzie Jaekel of Lake Zurich, as the Snow Queen.
