BYDE Winter Festival Performances

Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble recently performed excerpts from Swan Lake at two regional dance festivals. On January 25th, the BYDE company dancers presented excerpts from Swan Lake, restaged by Karen Janet & Chelsea DuBois, and featuring original choreography by Guillermo Leyva, at Inaside's Youth Summit for the Arts at Barrington High School. The Youth Summit was a great event for a good cause, a portion of the proceeds went to Gigi's Playhouse. On February 7th, BYDE performed at the 7th Annual Winter Festival of Dance at Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg, hosted by Northwest Ballet Ensemble. Both performances were met with rave reviews. We appreciate all the audience members who came out to support BYDE at these regional dance festivals!
