Dog Exercise in the Winter

Exercising your dog in the winter is just as important as any other time of the year.  Walks are important and can be a great way to work off energy.  Be sure to bundle up your dog or use a paw wax product to protect their paws.  The colder winter months can also be a great time to send your dog to doggie daycare for a half or full day of fun with other dogs!  If your dog does not get along with other dogs, you can train your dog to use a treadmill.  Dogs need time to get used to walking on a treadmill and working with a dog trainer can make this easy and fun.  Walking, doggie daycare, and other creative approaches are great ways to continue exercise in the winter.
