Haunted Hike: Are You Brave Enough?

BSA - Lakota Lodge #175 Order of the Arrow bring you it's 16th Annual Haunted Hike! Are you brave enough to put it on your calendar?

October is a wonderful month, filled with golden leaves that builds to a beautiful Indian Summer. It also is a month of suspense, ending with a dreaded Haunted Hike that is filled with fiendish ghouls, hidden horrors, distant screams, witches and the walking dead.

So, are you brave enough? Do you have the guts to attend the Order of the Arrow's 16th Annual Haunted Hike?

This is the 16th year that Lakota Lodge #175 - Order of the Arrow has offered a weekend of fright and fun to celebrate the season at Des Plaines Methodist Campground, 2000 E. Algonquin Rd, just east of River Road, Des Plaines.

Last year’s horror-filled success drew more than 2,700 frightened attendees. The plotting Arrowmen are tapping into their creative juices to plan even bigger terror-shrouded activities and they are challenging the public to attend this popular event.

A false sense of well-being for the hikers will be staged with a live band, concessions, free games, free face painting, a campfire and more. But, once the ghostly guides lead the unsuspecting visitors into the dark campground paths, silence reigns heavily until sudden screams of shock take over.
