Christina Currie Events, Inc. says Thank You for Grace Meets Glamour

A few months ago my company had a vision to create a bridal affair that would allow each and every bride attending to receive personalized attention. After years of dealing with bridal expos where there are 100 vendors and 500 brides, all crowded into on place, we wanted to do things differently! With our vision in place, we created the first ever Grace Meets Glamour boutique bridal event that took place Sunday, April 29, 2012 at The Allerton Hotel's Tip Top Tap Ballroom.

It could not have been any more spectacular! With the help of our two additional sponsoring vendors, The Meetinghouse Companies, Inc. and The Allerton Hotel, our brides walked into an event to showcase some of the leading vendors in the Chicagoland area!

Many local Barrington businesses contributed to this spectacular event, and we know it would not have been possible without them! We would like to extend a thanks to A L'Amour bridal for all the dresses and accessories our beautiful brides wore for the fashion show. Laura B Salon donated three stylists to create works of art for all of our brides, flower girls, and even some of the behind-the-scenes crew!

Additional businesses that participated were GQ Tux, located in the Streets of Woodfield, who donated all the men's apparel for the fashion show. They looked quite handsome! Brie Aarin Makeup, located in the northwest suburbs made each face picture-perfect! Lenswork Studio provided Tao to photograph our entire event and we cannot wait to see our fabulous pictures!

Local residents from the Barrington area were our models for the fashion show! Thank you to our eight women and four gentlemen who took time out of their Sunday afternoons to get dressed up and wow our guests!
