Rachel Bilson Announces Shoemint

After numerous features in major fashion and celebrity gossip
magazines, we have seen Shoemint come to
fruition! I was a bit skeptical of another "discounted designer" site, but this
one is legitmate! We can see by the (more) expensive price tag, this isn't
Shoedazzle's questionable quality. Not only does Shoemint boast designer quality
at $79.98, but there is actual leather and suede used in their footwear. The
answer to our prayers!

After taking a similar test to many of the other similar sites,
I was shown my way to their shoe choices. I was provided approximately 10
different shoes spanning a huge degree of trends and styles. As the site has
just launched, it makes sense that they don't have many various designs yet, but
it was still disappointing to see the selections in front of me. However great
the quality may be, most of the shoes were platforms or wedges - both not very
practical for a career on my feet. I'm not sure if I can retake the test to
improve my choices, but I wasn't able to find another link to other shoe
choices. Perhaps that's a glitch they need to figure out.
 
Important things to keep in mind: Once you buy
your first pair, you will be charged on the 5th of every month unless you go to
your accounts page and select to "skip" the month. That's $79.98 every month!
Keep an eye on your checking account/credit card to assure that you have not
been charged. Also, you are allowed to return your purachase for a complete
refund if it doesn't fit! That's fabulous if you're between sizes, like me. You
can also exchange for free of charge as well if you want to see if a different
size would be a more appropriate fit.

Overall, ShoeMint has great potential! I did find a fabulous
pair of teal ballet flats that I have ordered and we'll see how my purchase
turns out when I receive it! More news to come :)
