The Barrington Country Garden & Antique Faire Welcomes the Garden of Versailles

Christina Currie Events, Inc. participates in the Barrington Garden & Antique Faire in Barrington Hills June 15-16, 2012.

Every year, the Barrington community comes together to put on
the Barrington Country Garden & Antique Faire. The goal of this fabulous affair is to raise money for Hands of Hope, a nonprofit organization that raises money for
struggling African peoples.

The background of Hands of Hope is truly inspiring! A Barrington resident took a trip to Nigeria and realized the plight of women in Africa. Due to lack of medical attention and educational resources, early childhood marriages resulted in pregnancy complications in women as young as 11 years. "As a result of that trip and of others hearing about the plight of women and children in Nigeria a northwest suburban community of Chicago came together, bringing their skills and resources, to help address the critical needs of women and children a world away." And the Barrington Garden Faire has been taking place for its 12th year to again raise money for this important cause.

The Barrington Garden Faire will take place June 15-16, 2012 from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Tickets purchased prior to June 10th are $40; after that, the price increases to $50 per person. Please call 847-381-7367 for more information. The tickets can also be purchased online at the website link above.
