Shoes!

As summer begins to come to an end, many may wonder how to transition some of their summer favorites into a good fall look. Others may ask themselves if they need an entire separate fall wardrobe that consists of suede, closed toe shoes, and darker shades. Well, just like how white is now a safe color to wear all throughout the year, your shoes can transition just like your flashy whites!

The Strappy Heel
In years past, this is the FIRST shoe that goes into the "do not enter" box for the fall and winter in my closet. But, just like you've been seeing on the designer runways in recent years, your strappy sandal that you typically wear for all sorts of fancy occasions are completely fine to transition into the brisk fall weather! Find some fun textured tights, and you can essentially transition your entire outfit to the fall by adding tights and a cute blazer to complete your look. Skirts and tanks are still viable, my friends! Rejoice!

Tights, Leggings and Stockings
You already learned how to prorate your strappy heel into fall weather, and we definitely began to address the functionality of the pair of tights/leggings/stockings - whatever you want to call them - into the fall wardrobe. This is one of the easiest ways to stay warm in the cooler months and prolong the use of your summer wardrobe. Nothing looks more chic than a pair of brightly-colored patent leather ballet flats and a black legging. It's the perfect way to keep your POP of color and be the talk of your party!

Lace-Up Boots
We've seen these boots come back in style with a vengeance the past few years! You know... the ones that look like they could have been from your 80's punk rock years or worn by someone from the Brat Pack? Nothing is more perfect for fall than a pair of edgy boots! These look fantastic with a floral summer dress and jean jacket or with tight "jeggings" and an oversized sweater.
