Branch Topples on Power Lines, Blocks Road
West Lake Street is blocked due to a fallen tree branch.
The morning storm caused a tree branch to snap, falling on top of power lines on West Lake Street.
The road is currently blocked due to the issue. The branch not only fell on the power lines, but also snapped the utility pole.
"We're waiting on ComEd to come out and take care of their end, and then we'll clean up the tree," Barrington's Acting Public Works Director Mark Werksman said.
