Construction Alert for Route 59 Motorists
Route 59 will be under construction at the CN Railway crossing this week.
A heads up for drivers in Barrington this week. A portion of Route 59 will be closed at the Canadian National Railroad (CN) crossing from July 18 to 23.
CN will be reconstructing the road crossing at this location, and traffic on Route 59/Hough Street will be completely closed from Main St. to Route 14 during construction. There will be detours posted for drivers needing to navigate around this area.
CN already completed similar construction at Lake Zurich Road, and will be working on Otis Road in Barrington Hills the week of July 25.
