Open for a decade, this charming downtown Argentine eatery offers a wide array of gourmet meal options, from duck a l’orange to jumbo crab cakes and herbed goat mascarpone soufflé to herb crusted rack of lamb. Artistic Cuisine also features an assortment of fine crafted desserts.

2. Francesca's Famigila, 100 East Station St., Barrington

Francesca's Famigila is a popular Italian eatery in Barrington.  It's menu is always changing, so you'll never get bored of the cuisine options.  Located in Cook Street Plaza. 

3. Barrington Country Bistro, 718 W. Northwest Highway, Barrington

This chic restaurant offers menu options inspired by French bistro and Italian cuisine. The restaurant, located in the Foundry, also has an extensive wine list. 

4. Sushi Ai, 710 W. Euclid Ave., Palatine

This ambient Japanese restaurant is lovely for a quiet evening out. Sushi Ai features Nagiri Sushi Combo (sashimi) dishes and Sushi roll Combo dishes; all chef selected and ideal for sharing between two. 

5. D&J Bistro,  466 S. Rand Rd., Lake Zurich 

D&J Bistro has been serving up great food to the Northwest suburbs since 1987. Menu options include everything from caramelized goat cheese to grilled calamari.
