Annual Teddy Bears for Christmas COllection

If you have ever seen a sanctuary filled with Teddy Bears during the Holiday Season, you know that the sight brings a comfort that is indescribable!

This year, St. Paul Missions Team is asking that we all help provide this kind of comfort to those who are victims of sexual assault.

Teddy Bears will be collected throughout the month of December to be given to the Zacharias Center (formerly Lake County Coalition Against Sexual Assault.)

Since 1983, The Zacharias Center has provided free services and are
available to all survivors regardless of race, gender, language, ability, sexual orientation, or religion.

When Trained Advocates first assist clients, a teddy bear is often much-needed security in a scary time. The painful transition from victim of sexual abuse to survivor can often start with the simple hugging of a teddy bear.

All you need to do is bring a new or gently loved teddy bear and leave it in one of the church pews.

The Missions Team will collect the bears on Sunday, December 22 to be given to the Zacharias Center. Please help in this worthy cause!
