Barrington Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) New Membership Meeting

The Barrington
Junior Women’s Club (BJWC) is a group of women committed to enhancing the
community through philanthropy and volunteerism.  On October 1, 2013, BJWC will host a new
member meeting for individuals who are interested in joining the group and
making a difference in the lives of others. 
During this meeting, new members will become acquainted with BJWC, learn
about the various committees and activities happening throughout the year, meet
new people and create new friendships.  Membership
is open to women of all ages living in the northwest suburban area.  Anyone from stay-at-home moms to full-time
professionals are welcome to join us in our mission of giving back to the
community.

BJWC
hosts and participates in a wide variety of events throughout the year, such as
a Fall Fashion Show and Spring Fundraiser that raise funds for philanthropic
grants, scholarship funds for Barrington High School seniors, meals for the
needy over the holidays and more.  BJWC also provides
strong support for Safety Town, the Service to Seniors program, Character
Counts and Kids on the Block, Meals on Wheels, Barrington Giving Day and various
other community service projects.
