Citizens for Conservation celebrates Flint Creek Savanna's 25th Anniversary

Citizens for Conservation will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its Flint Creek Savanna on Saturday, September 7th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.at CFC Headquarters, 459 W. Hwy 22, in Lake Barrington. Please join us to celebrate this award-winning restoration, CFC's largest and most diverse preserve embracing nearly a mile of creek course, four oak and hickory groves and acres of restored wetlands and prairie.

As part of the celebration, there will be educational prairie tours and family fun activities including a nature scavenger hunt, a folk singer and a native folklore storyteller, a giant soap bubbler and more. All activities are free. Wear walking shoes!
