Conversation & English High Tea with the First Ladies

Signal Hill Chapter, National Society Daughters of
the American Revolution will host their Annual English High Tea & Drama fundraiser on Wednesday, October 23 at 12:00 PM (noon).  The event will take place at The Garlands of
Barrington located at 1000 Garlands Lane, Barrington, IL.

Finger sandwiches, scones, lemon curd, Devon cream, chocolates,

sweets, and tea will be served.  And a
special “boutique”, offering many beautiful items available for purchase, will be open before the main event.

This year’s performance will feature actress, singer and writer
Jenny Riddle, performing costume portrayals of “Famous First Ladies” including Mary
Todd Lincoln, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jackie Kennedy, and Hillary Clinton.

Tickets are $40 and must be purchased by October 16th.  Please call Candice Meyer 847-639-6883 or
Sandra Michener 847-358-9985 to make your reservation, or mail your check
payable to Signal Hill Chapter, NSDAR to Sandra Michener, 1430 Shire Circle,
Palatine, IL 60067-4773. Seating is limited, so please make your reservations early.

Proceeds from the tea will support Signal Hill Chapter programs

including local youth awards and conservation projects, service for veterans

and active troops and commemorative events.
