Tai Chi Workshops at Holy Family Parish

Tai Chi is coming to Holy Family:  Nov 5 – Dec 10, 2012 Monday nights from 7:30p - 9:00p in LL I & II

Join instructor, Paul Semanic, for free Tai Chi workshops as we encourage and celebrate good health and strength, in mind, body and spirit.  Improve your energy and reduce stress with the gentle and easy-to-learn movements of Tai Chi.  Tai Chi is a centuries old exercise system that leaves you feeling energized and relaxed.  It generates a calm centeredness and an overall sense of peace and well being.  It is a wonderful way to increase your strength and energy and boost your immune system to prevent future illness.

If you are currently experiencing health issues (illness, surgery recovery, high blood pressure, balance concerns, sore back, chronic colds, stress, etc.) then you understand the value of good health.  Allow the gentle movements of Tai Chi to guide you on the path back to good health and reduced stress.

Registration is requested via email at Paul@HeartOfChi.com so we may estimate attendance.  Walk-ins and friends are welcome!  Please wear loose, comfortable clothes that don’t restrict movement, and gym (flat) shoes.

Mr. Semanic has studied for over 25 years with six instructors and is certified by the New England School of Tai Chi.  He has led numerous classes at Park Districts and Senior Communities, and he taught a Tai Chi program at Alexian Brothers for “Mended Hearts” - a group of heart and cancer recovery patients.

A free will donation of $5 is requested to help support "A.R.T.S. - Arts Refreshing the Soul," a non-profit dedicated to using the arts as a tool to help women and their children recover from domestic violence, poverty, and homelessness.  (Kim Stadler, Executive Director)
