Northwest Obedience Club - Responsible Dog Ownership Day

Northwest Obedience Club is hosting a Responsible Dog

Ownership Day on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 11 am to 4 pm at their
training facility, 735 Industrial Drive, Cary, Illinois.


Responsible Dog Ownership Day is a national program of American Kennel Club designed to help educate the public about responsibilities and opportunities for dog owners. Northwest Obedience Club is one of over 650 dog training clubs across the country hosting a local Responsible Dog Ownership Day.


Families and their well-behaved, vaccinated dogs on leads are invited to attend. Activities will include training demonstrations, dog games, kids’ activities, educational booths, Meet the Breeds, lost dog information, animal shelters, microchip clinic (RSVP required), Boy Scout Dog Care Merit Badge opportunity (RSVP required), Responsible Dog Ownership Pledge Banner signing, local vendors, emergency services information and starter first aid kits, a raffle and much more.

Admission is free. Visitors who bring a dog food item for donation to a local food pantry will receive an extra raffle ticket.
